Ricochet, you take your aimFire away, fire away.

This is a rough version, recorded with my phone. I’ve also had bronchitis for almost a month now. I will be recording it again with my yeti mic, once my MacBook arrives. More posts like this to come.

Pie and good conversation

Today wasn’t so bad, it went surprisingly well actually. The three hour drive didn’t even bother me. Doug and I talked the whole way there, mostly about the best way to zombie proof houses and our plan of escape if it ever comes down to it.

On the way home we stopped by a cute little roadside place called River Rock Cafe. Out front there was a billboard with a half naked pinup girl, bending over holding a pie. The slogan above it said “Come get a piece.” On one side of the building there was a saloon and the other side had a restaurant/bakery that sold homemade pie’s and pastries. The food was amazing !

We carried on our conversation through lunch, it was nice. Doug told me that he would like to hear me sing more often. He has always told me that I have a beautiful voice. I told him that I wanted a mic that I could hook up to my computer to record myself. If I get it, I was thinking about posting some videos on my blog. I do love to sing, I always have since I was a little girl. My mom would have all of us kids sit around in the family room and sing together. I am thankful for that Part of my childhood.
